Your Review:

When The Kite String Pops is one of the strangest albums you'll ever hear. And it's also one of the best. These songs are played and written in a way that it's more dark than anything you'll have ever heard. The music itself isn't too complex or intricate, but why should it be? It works just the way it is. Some of these songs can get downright morbid. Acid Bath is not a gore metal band, but morbid just the same. If not more.

Acid Bath fucking rocks. They are my favorite band by far. When the kite string pops is a very good album, i'd probably say their best. i do like pagean terrorism tactics though a lot too it's just a different style, slower. but still very good.

Worth it for 'Jezebel' alone. WTKSP is not as good an 'album' as Paegan but has a killer guitar sound thanks no doubt to Spike Cassidy's (DRI) production.

When The Kite String Pops is perhaps one of m favorite albums ever. Acid Bath have created a very unique music style as well as some very dak lyrics. Dax is truly a lyrical genius. I have owned this album for eight years and I still listen to it every day. Definitely a 10 out of 10.

Acid Bath were an incredible experimental metal band, and describing them is definitely not easy. Sometimes slow and doomy, sometimes fast and chaotic, and always in an utterly bizarre, dreadful gothic vortex of psychedelic insanity. The cover of this album is a self portrait by the child murdering clown John Wayne Gacy, and nothing could be more more fitting for the music. Acid Bath's second album, Paegan Terrorism Tactics, is also brilliant, but I personally think this debut album is the better of the two.
