GREAT cd! Don't really know how to describe it, it is black metal but definitely with a lot of folk influences in it. It starts of atmospheric with some "forest background noise" but soon the music kicks in which is composed of non-overly-distorted guitars and chanted vocals, in german and mostly about Wotan and other pagan stuff. Noticable is the clearly audible bassguitar which has been given a lot of room in the mix. The music itself is quite dynamic and has faster parts as well, with shreeking BM vocals and more distorted guitars. If I had to compare it to something else then I would say Falkenbach, but with more tempo changes and breaks, plus enhanced vocals.
