I had this work in my hands some 12 years before (so, it seems it was new by then). I heard it a number of times and was enchanted. I did not have the opportunity to take it with me, though. I am searching for it since then. So take my comments with a grain of salt, since they come from fading memory. The music is more metal-like than blossom of mourning, the (at least partially) latin duets by Andres and Oliver, with the clear voice of Andres and the growl of Oliver feel tense and enchanting, as does the krumhorn.
