The band's third album is a bit less melodic than the previous one, keeping the crisp, dark and heavy sound led by brilliant guitarist Barre Gambling.
There is no bad song on the album but this time there are some that are quite similar to each other, at the same slow pace.
To underline the instrumental 'and a slow surrender' which is great, 'at a loss' which shows how well the band can compose slow songs, the intense and powerful 'A Portrait in white' and some instrumental parts of 'At a loss' and 'A Subtle Violence'.

Damn, I wrote:
'at a loss' which shows how well the band can compose slow songs

instead of 'Last alone' that is the right one.
