This is one of those albums that I bought on the strength of the excellent track "Twinned With Destiny", which appeared on a black metal compilation some years ago, and then never really listened to. Not that this is a bad album, but despite including WAS from The Blood Divine the CD just failed to encourage me to play it that often. A mixture of instrumental and black metal influenced tracks, the vocals are perhaps the albums downfall as they vary from passable orcish style to unconvincing high pitched wails a la King Diamond....on a bad day. Production is acceptable enough, and the songs well written, but that lack of "spark" doesn't help matters... Some very good tracks ("Exaltation of Power", and the aforementioned "Twinned with Desity" - THE standout track) make this a worthy purchase, but given that you'll probably only be able to find the CD via somewhere like eBay I would suggest it's not worth paying over the odds for.
