I was pleasantly surprised by this album. I already hat it on mp3 for a quite long time, but you know how it goes. Listening your mp3's through crappy pc speakers isn't really great.
So in the end I decided to just buy it and see what it would be like through a great soundsystem with megaspeakers.

The intro (in the 1st) song is kind of quiet, but ok. The grunting vocals make me laugh a bit, but then when the music kicks in it's one hell of a great concrete wall of Thrash/Black Metal.
Those grunting vocals are only there in the intro and some other spoken parts, for the rest a Hellchrist XUL uses a black scream. The drummer is one fuckin bad ass drummer indeed. Very tight, and I like the sound of the drums a lot. These devastating drums accompagnied by the hellish somewhat thrashy guitarrifs and awesome vocal patterns makes this album one of the best in the Dutch Black Metal history. This is quality. This is killer. This is Godslayer XUL!
