This is a great album. I think not many words are needed to say this is a great album by a great band. It's really sad that this band is not appreciated at it's level they deserve in our own country, The Netherlands. I really like lyrics Henri writes, handling about all kinds of historic events but slightly different than the real story because he added some cool satanic stuff in it, really cool! For example on this album in the song 'Under A Silve Moon' Henri tells the story of the virgin Maria who got pregnant, he actually tells us he was the one who got her pregnant! Very very highly recommended!

An excellent quite-melodic/technical death metal album. Sometimes I think it sounds like a mix of "Spiritual Healing", "Symbolic" (Death), and some Bolt Thrower sounds... but with different kind of lyrics (these ones are more aggressive, many times talking about anti-christianity). Though it is God Dethroned's just second album, the production is very good.
Unless the most death metal bands, the voices are not so dirt, I think they are just precise in that sense.

I love how in the christhunt and the Grand Grimoire there are references to the movie the Warlock. I actually sat down and watched this movie because I was a fan of GD. The movie was a decent "B" horror movie, but is a very nice movie to be used for reference purposes in GD's music. This album gets a 8/10
