Wow... Unbelievable! So many different styles of music, so maybe influences. This really is a carnival of styles. But mixed so good, I really, really like this one. The parts with the munks and the indians I like the most... It al sounds quite intense. Try to listen to it, I bet you'll all like it very much!

One of the best albums ever!
Their music is powerfull, it comes directly from the dead!
In a very particular way, they are really dark and melancholic.
¿have you ever imagined how Hell sounds like?

A Masterpeice! Awesome album, a bit better then the new album. This is one of those albums you can listen to and soon you will be singing along, drumming along, maybe even dancing along. There is no diverse metal fan that should be without this album, get it now if you don't have it!

Hollenthon's first album already gives a clue for the future of the band: original, diverse, symphonic. It may not be the old black metal but that's exactly why music exists, to EVOLVE. Bands that stay the same and release one silly-guitar-grunting-and-screaming album after the other are the real shit around here, not Hollenthon or other bands that incorporated other styles and came up with albums such as this where each melody has its own different story.

If you're expecting a metal release with converntional, run of the mill, boring material, then don't listen to this album - it's not your style.
If, however, you're into a band who has a very wide array of different styles, from aggressive to happy to almost folklike influences, then you will love this band. These guys are one of my very favorite bands in the metal genre. I for one, am getting kind of sick of bands, who are very talented and just waste it all by trying so hard to sound like other bands that have written in stone what metal is supposed to sound like. Hollenthon completely erase those rules to rewrite them - you can be a good metal band who doesn't sound like everybody else. You can add crazy weird synthesized violens, you can add some female vocals and weird tribal chants and not only be good, but downright amazing. I think other metal bands should take a note or two, and start thinking up their own ideas. Save the metal genre that's plummeting!
So in conclusion, it's very experimental, very flowing with various styles, and it ain't mainstream BS. I love this cd to death.
