You know who's cool? KORN!
With their awesome dreadlocks
And their backwards R
And their Perfect drumming (i can't help but laugh)
And of course their poetic Lyrics:

Reclaim my Place

What the fuck x16

A dissapointment. First, we discover we have to skip 12 tracks to get to the actual music, then we get one of the best tracks: the agressive It's on!, wich has agression we can't often find back on the rest of the album. There are some okay things like Freak on a Leash and Got the Life (altough they're both a little pop-like), but to much bad shit like Children of the Korn (feat. rapper Ice Cube), and the brainless hatetrack All in the Family (feat. Fred Durst from the horrible Limp Bizkit). To much rap here.

Korn is by now the worst band i ever heard and this album is the evidence.

I don't even know why I'm reviewing this, since I haven't listened to this album in about three years.

Anyways, this is the kind of music I used to listen to. This album got me into hard rock and metal music, so it is important to me in that way. I didn't have any friends into metal or anything like that, so I had to discover metal bands myself. I can't be blamed for having been a fan of this style of music when I knew nothing else at the time. I didn't even know what Metallica sounded like back then, so that goes to show how ignorant I was as to what was out there!

However, I do assure you that my musical tastes have grown since then, I have taken up playing guitar, and I have discovered and familiarized myself with underground metal and music of a much higher caliber than Korn or anyone similar to them.

I gave this album a 7, because even though I don't appreciate them nor follow their music anymore, I once did and it helped me get to where I am today as far as having a passion for listening to and playing heavy music.

Alright, so the heaviness let up, to not only my own disappointment. It's On! would have been the best track on there, had it not been for My Gift to You. Them, plus Freak on a Leash, Got the Life, and Seed made the album, as far as I'm concerned. B.B.K. wasn't that bad either. I found All in the Family to be humorous, but it didn't feel right on the album. Same with the attitude apparent in Jon's voice in Cameltosis. Aside from that, featuring rappers definitely does NOT do very good for the band. If any one thing ruined Follow the Leader, it was definitely the use of such elements. Children of the Korn could have been much better if it were just Korn, and if were struck up about a dozen huge notches in the heaviness category. Also, I concur with the accusation of having mindless hate-tracks. Reclaim My Place and Justin plainly... were not entertaining at all. Every time I listen to them my mind kinda trails off. There's nothing to hold one's attention unless you force yourself too. I mentioned My Gift to You, and even though it is a hate-track, it is undoubtedly my favorite track on the album. While it is a song plainly and soley about killing someone, I think Korn did a fantastic job of writing it. It's slow, but powerful... until we hit the Cheech & Chong cover of Earache My Eye. Frankly, I think they ought to just put out a joke album or something and put stuff like Low Rider, Kunts, Earache My Eye, and anything else like them on that thing. I'd pay to get a few laughs, but I kinda regret having to pay for a laugh or two, rap/metal (which thus far, sucks, except for Linkin Park's version of it), and a couple worthy tracks. Ehh... 6/10, mostly for It's On! and My Gift to You.

This album had a few good tracks which i hate to admit! It was a very trendy album with lots of radio play which made me significantly less interested in the band. The songs i found to be kind of cathy were: freak on a leash, got the life,All in the family, my gift to you.Of course the funny bonus song after a few minutes of silence after my gift to you was a new version of "Erache My Eye" the classic cheech and chong theme song.If you find this album for under 10.00 it might be an allright buy.
