an amazing album.more of an industrail mixed with magical music of black metal.hellhammer doesnt get to show off his true drumming skills but still as good as ever.this album has a orignal sound to it.i would say this is one of the best albums out.cant wait for the follow up.i would give this album an 10 on a scale of 1-10.

Are you all out of your fucking mind? This album is pure shit! Since when has Nagash, Blackheart and Hellhammer stopped being a promising young black metal act? I'm sorry, but Nexus Polaris promised good music to come forth ... but this...

an ok album. nothing out of the ordinary. sometimes i hate his (don't know his name) way of singing though, it's so freaking crappy but still ok. i can't possible describe his horrible way of singing. luckily you seem to forget the strange singing and focus more on the good songs. luckily he changes his way of singing on the new seti album. (which also is a great album)

This album did not surprise me at all, since it was the first album I've heard from them. I later compared it too Nexus Polaris and noticed what difference it made.

It annoys me to hear most people say 'It's too commercial' or 'It's not Black Metal'. Well 1. Practically every CD that's released is commercial, and that includes 'true Norwegian Black Metal'.

I'm glad to see that the Kovenant dare to change their music style, and not continue to make the same songs for 15 years (cough...cough..Darkthrone...cough...weeze), I highly doubt that people who think it's bad have heard the whole album, and just say: "I hate it, because it is not Black Metal". I advise everyone to open your minds (and ears) and take this album a few good listens before you make your final judgement.

9/10

The Kovenant - Animatronic is a new approach, i like it though, new so called "Industrial Blackmetal" it have got a very nice atmosphere, and very different than S.E.T.I, it has some great tracks like Mirrors paradise, Mannequin (my fav from that album), Jihad, In the name of the future, great work, and about the vocals i dont see anything bad on it, its ok, well if you do not like it, how come do you listen to blackmetal then?
8/10

I highly recommend this album. The melodies & rhytmic patterns are just awesome, one of my alltime favourite albums.

this cd is my first metal album that I have listen to and it's great . from then there is only metal and nothing else! this music is something new in metal [maybe Samael "Eternal" is similiar] I give here 10/10. Hail the Kovenant !

This album is nothing like their earier stuff. It is new age electro/industrial black metal. Without speed and brutality I still rate this album for it's diversity. If you like Rammstien or Samael's newer shit, you'll enjoy this album.
