Not even close to what Marduk play nowadays, but still one of the best black/death albums ever made. A real classic and a fucking masterpiece. Th titletrack "Fuck Me Jesus is only a short clip from the movie The Exorcist which is kind of dissapointing because of he cool name. But the rest kick ass. Kinda hard to get your hands on now but it if you can get it you must. Its VERY heavy, and not so speedy. Whats more to say? Get it.

For me the best Marduk CD! This is more deathmetal-ish then later releases. Songs like 'Departure Of The Mortals' are just spine crushing and a real hatchet in the head. There is only one 'but' and that is that this Mini CD is just too fucking short!

By the way, the re-release from 1999 has some real cool bonustracks on it 'In Conspiracy With Satan' and 'Woman Of Dark Desires' (one of the best Bathory tracks by the way). Also a rerecorded version of Dark Endless. Which makes this re-release a must for Marduk fans.

Re-released as an EP (CD) with 2 Bathory-Coverversions.

Really interesting on this CD is only the Intro ("Fuck me Jesus") and the 2 Bathory-Covers. All the other songs are included on the "Dark Endless"-Album.

Up untill now i never knew i owned a Marduk-demo. I bought this album in a small recordshop that closed about 2 years ago and i thought that the price of 5 EURO's wasn't that much. OK, I'll quit pissing some of you guys off...

No actually this is a very good record, with very good songs. I'm quite shocked when I read that this is only good for the titletrack and 2 more songs. ok you cona find them elsewhere to, but hey, this is where it al started with...
I was very surpriced hearing the song "Woman of dark desire". Its almost like a parody, but it's a damn good song...
and so is the record

Marduk - Fuck Me jesus
======================

This album shows us the death metal roots of Marduk.
But then again it also shows were Marduk got its aggressiveness from.

The production on this is quite good. I can't say much more about it since i've got the re-released version, which I think has been remastered.

the songwriting then is great. Lots of death metal, but already with the blasphemy that shapes Marduk and the black metal influences. A very variated song is "Within The Abbyss", which contains very slow parts that die out in mercyless blast beats. Very great. The rest of the songs rae of course great too, but this one jumped out. The outro is the great work that woulmd later become the base of the song "Opus Nocturne".

The musicianship on this album isn't fully shown yet, as their are no real solo's on it, not very fast drumming.
But then again the drums are nice and steady.

8/10

good release, the origin of Marduk !

this is the begining of the swedish black metal insignia marduk, just blasphemy, darkness with some death metal riffs, but is a classic

I agree with the reviewer above me. Death metal is definately the root of Marduk. I've got the cd release of 1995, do not think this one's alreayd remastered. It sounds brutal. I also got the 7" single release wich sounds even more brutal. The raw production really sets the mood on the music wich is released upon you.
