This is Moonspell's debut track and in my opinion it is one of their best tracks with no sign of exaggeration on my behalf. It sounds a lot with samael (ex Blood Ritual) and despite the fact that i am not much of a samael's fan i love serpent angel , probably perhaps i like Moonspell. Anyway i did not get the chance to listen to anno satanae but serp ang is their most and ONLY black metal-ish release, still a magnificent one.
