HAIL ! THIS IS THE GREATEST MDB ALBUM FOREVER AND EVER ! AND I THINK THIS IS THE BEST DOOM METAL ALBUM IN THE HISTORY OF METAL MUSIC !!!!! rating: 10/10 Review by: demafire That was a disappointment for me as i have grown with their albums and i have expected something else. They try to combine their current sound with the sound they had in " as flower..." but they don't succeed in my opinion.Furthermore some songs are not as good as i have used to hear from MDB. After some years of mediocrity (34.788% was not so great), this is the return of a great MDB. Aaron use clean and raw vocals ; I like it. But, this is not the return of violin ; I'm disappointed. In despite of this negative point, it is the best album of MDB after "Turn loose the swans". Review by: zlasla xlalou A big surprise in that moment, the old logo, sear me III... promising !!! And yes, the album is great, but the first impression wasn't that good. 'She is the dark' is truly great, but with 'Edenbeast' and 'the Night he Died' the sound begin to be a bit monotonous and uninspired. No problem, the title song is very nice and epic ; however, the three next songs are not as good. My Dying Bride is losing inspiration ? No, the two final songs are masterpieces !!! 'Christliar' is impressive, specially the middle part, and 'sear me III' is so fucking nice and a perfect ending. Let's say that the artwork is cool, and Andrew played almost all guitars, and actually he did a good work. Review by: danchloe One of the best doom metal album ever.
