I finally got to see this band live reently, in Bradford. It was an amazing night, and the band played pretty much the same setlist as can be found on this DVD. I bought the DVD the day before the Bradford concert and watched it in full the day after the gig, and I'm glad I did. I was truly lost in the awesome and beautiful world of My Dying Bride for those two days, and for about another week afterwards.
The concert is sublime. In Bradford, the stage and venue was a lot smaller than on here, so not only did I benefit from a more intimate experience, but I could also get up close to the band that I adore. However, for the Antwerp gig on the DVD, the bigger stage is better suited to Aaron's wonderdful onstage theatrics. The sound is crystal clear, the band is in top form, and the concert is shot professionally. The setlist is made up mainly of more recent MDB material, making Sinamorata very much a 'For Darkest Eyes' Part II. My only complaint regarding the concert is that there are not enough shots of Sarah, Shaun or Ade. Because of this, it can get a little repetitive, as we only really get to see Aaron, Andrew and Hamish, awesome though they are.
It's really interesting to look at the fan art, too. There are some very impressive creations on display. The fan-made videos are also very good (I particularly favour My Wine In Silence), as are the professional clips for The Prize Beauty (one complaint: too short) and The Blue Lotus (one complaint: it's too small and can be quite difficult to see).
The photo gallery is a nice addition, being concise and thorough.
Also I have to say, the artwork and menus are superb, very attractive. That's the icing on the cake.

i finally found a copy of this dvd in a record store, after looking around for it in ages. i guess they take much longer to ship to australia.
the dvd contains a bunch of features including the actual concert, a gallery, two official video clips, two fan-made video clips and a few other clips from live shows.
the actual concert was quite good throughout, opening with the dreadful hours, the mournful melody on the guitars sent shivers down my spine.
i find though that some of the heavier sorrowful parts, e.g. the part in the song where Aaron is saying "Mother warned, father scorned me...", does not have the same effect as it does on the CD version. the same goes for the second verse (or chorus or whatever) of The Raven And The Rose, and unfortuneately they skipped the solo piano at the end. it was mainly due to the keys that these verses did not have the same effect.
apart from these few things, the concert is magnificent. Aaron is very dramatic on stage with his poses/actions, which contributes increasily to the mournful atmosphere of the show.
for My Dying Bride fans this is definately a must-buy.
