Having finally taken the plunge into Death Metal with the likes of Death, Obituary and Early Sepultura, i decided to try out some Napalm. I had heard this album once round a mates house along with the Peel Sessions about 12 years ago and thoguht it was TOO heavy!!. So when i got it home and stuck in in the player all these years later i was amazed still how brutal it sounded. A truly fantastic album with evil heavy duty vocals, mental drumming and f*cking hardcore guitars. I am certainly glad i took a gamble on it cos it really is an awesome heavy f*cking album. no messing!

Geniosity springs for one more in this album. Napalm Death continue showing the finger to commercialism and mainstream.
A bit of concept crawls throughout the 15 songs. About the songs - this is ND's greatest album ever! Not so rough as Scum or FETO but applying this feeling of having averything torn apart. Forever in my Top10 for bands of all time, ND have outdone themselves for the obvious fucking reason to what one has thought. After the intro the killing begins with I Abstain, very atmospheric and extremely heavy songs follow. Dementia Access makes you do nothing but just await to what comes next. The World Keeps Turning shows yet another cause for the main idea - fuck the system. Greenway's vocals and the amazing instrumental work are what first got me into liking this band. This is shown at highest level on Idiosyncratic and some other that follow. There's also a Pt. 2 of Cause And Effect. The track length is normal (means over 2min) since Harmony Corruption so we're not getting our fave short outbreaks from the first albs. But we should also be moving on with what this
kick-ass band has to offer us. So, Make Way to what kills or destroys. It's useful.
