A real masterpiece. This album is fucking cool. It also was a real crash in the metal-scene. So damn angry, Phil's voice is the most varied here, he screams, yells, grunts (a little), sings clear and raps. I think this album contains a couple of the best songs of Pantera: 'Domination', 'Cowboys From Hell' etc. A must for any metalhead! Review by: flix Michael Bolton is heavier then this Pop Rock. A poser named Mark Clouse and Matt Copeland said Pantera is heavy shit. So I checked them out,well they got the shit part right. I was listening to bands like Death,Cannibal Corpse and other things that still and will always destroy FAGTERA. Actually I was the only one listening to extreme metal in my pussy trendy school. P.S THE HUMAN GARBAGE MATT COPELAND I MENTIONED WHO LISTENS TO PANTERA GOT EXPELLED FOR MOLESTING A MEMBER ON THE SWIM TEAM ORALLY,NOT KIDDING,I GUESS PANTERA FANS SPEAK FOR THEMSELVES. Although this release isn't as heavy as, say, Death, Pantera definitely made up for that with excellent musicianship and beautiful lyrics. Phil's voice on this album is godly. It's a shame that he lost it for their subsequent albums, but their later releases were much heavier and required a more fitting vocal style. Also, even though some guy molested a kid on a swim team who happens to listen to Pantera, doesn't mean that every single Pantera fan is a rapist. So, before you make a ridiculously generalized statement such as "I guess Pantera fans speak for themselves", keep in mind that there are rapists who listen to any type of music, not just Pantera. This is my favorite band, I listen to all their stuff, even the glam metal albums, and every year play shows with my band as a tribute to Dimebag (R.I.P.), and I'm not a rapist.
