This album is perhaps the one that put the whole Greek Black Metal on the map. Even though the greek scene was very active, it was not taken very seriously... until the release of "Thy Mighty Contract". By that time, Greek Black Metal had developed an style of its own and this is a milestone of the genre. The production is a bit poor but the final outcome is superb. The 'technical rawness' on tracks such as "Exiled Archangels", and the speed of songs like "The Sign of Evil Existence" make this album a true classic of the genre. A must for anyone who proudly considers him/herself a black metaller.
