Let me start by saying this album is simply stunning!!
The band evolved and the song structures are more complex -featuring majestic acoucstic,synth passages and even some clean vocals...
I must say It's less depressive than the previous 2 albums.
But still very melancholic,winterish album.

They have lost even more bruttality than on the last album. And they even used cleen masculine vocals. Growls on the other hand are deeper and more demonlike than ever. They used 2 nonmetal instruments. A traditional finnish instrument - kantele and violin. These two fulfill the atmosphere perfectly. I would like to hear more such albums from them coz they really do awake something dessolate deep in me.

Well ... This new album has brought something new from Shape of Despair but it is still old funeraly glowing music . It is still atmospheric , it is still doom , and it is still great . Guitar rifs are still very heavy and long , and the synth bring the needed atmosphere . Vocals are great once again ... Pasi Koskinen and his lady are doing great job in here . There are more female vocals on this album and it really sounds great . Starting with Sleep Mirrored , and up to Still-motion the band shows clear talent ending with extremely deep track Illusion's play . My favourite songs are Curse Life and Illuison's Play ( but all are just great ). The lyrics are great too , I really loved reading them . If you are a fan of this brilliant band , you MUST hear this album . It is just great . MARK : 9.5/10
