Lemuria and Sirius B are Absolutely amazing. This is the most ambitious project of Christofer Johnsson and in my opinion this is one of his better works, Only comparable to Vovin or Thely. If Wagner, the famous classic German musician more "heavy" of his time (and probably of the history), was alive, sure he would be applauding this album.
GRANDE THERION!!!

this is really good, i like this one better than Lemuria. just like Lemuria, the artwork is absolutely amazing, and the music follows suit, on this one, Kali Yuga (both of them), Melek Taus, and Call Of Dagon are all incedible and worth the price of the album. has its heavy moments, but not as much as Lemuria. a real keeper any way you look at it.

Unfortunately I bought it.Nothing special at all.The brutal of Cristofer were a piece of shit and I didn't like the main soprano either. The compositions themselves were very boring and repetitive.I haven't heard it to the end... I coudn't!And all the magasins had great reviews.I don't understand. And although I like very much symphonic metal I was very disappointed by this one.You 'dbetter ;listen to Haggard.Eppur Si Muove is so much greater:)

This album is a step above Lemuria, but not by a whole lot. Most of the regular (not operatic) vocals seem somewhat out of place at this point in Therion's career (although it's much less of a problem here than in Lemuria). It especially hurts "Dark Venus Persephone". On top of that, there's way too much guitar, or rather, emphasis on it. Therion hasn't shown much strong guitar writing since Theli, but that was no big deal because the music had become built around orchestration. Here we can see that they're trying to revive the highlight of the guitar, but they're not making any improvements to its quality. My favorite parts between both albums are "Sirius B" & the first minute or so of "The Khlysti Evangelist" (after that the song goes to hell). Call of Dagon is also really incredible, but I think it could really benefit from either upping the complexity of the guitar melodies or removing them entirely.
