I think this is a lot better than the last 2 (good) albums... This is even better than I could have expected. Johan & Co. delivered again a master piece!

I really, really, really, really tried to like this album, and for awhile I did like it. But then it became grating again. Songs about love and bunnies and lacklustre social commentary with no trace of drugs at all. On this album, Tiamat seems like a great band that has run out of things to do, and therefore mimic what has gotten them the most attention to date.
4/10

The reason why I like this album is the same reason why I like all of Tiamat's albums, they never gave up the joke, so to speak. Johan's always had an odd sense humor. All his albums are wierd (remember the silly rock and roll part in summerian cry, or the tripped out lyrics in wildhoney??) but what keeps his albums interesting is that he never repeats a joke twice. Though some might be better than others, I always get what I want in a Tiamat album, an amazing atmosphere in the form of a one-off experiment that is not taken so seriously as to lose the simple enjoyment that is making music.

A truely disapointing album. Tiamat it on the head with "A Deeper Kind of Slumber", that is a great album with a sound all it's own. I only wish they would have expanded on that sound. This album is just boring there is no other way to say it. I bought it listened to it about 3 times and has be shelved ever since. Hopefully the can reclaim there sound of before. Tiamat, the jokes on you.
