The Dreaming Moment (demo)

1. Intro / The Circle's End

All is not forgiven, your words scarred my soul. As my angel’s finally fallen, down, alone I forever fall. Drenched in tears am I. When my tears became sour and desire, disgust to be with me. Can’t you see. Not to forgive, nor to forget. Life was all in vain. As my tears turned to blood, another dream’s restrained, restrained. It didn’t have to be this way, all the sorrow, all the pain. God left me alone in this wasteland of life, of love, of the bloodred stain. Drenched in blood am I. When the soil became sour and love conquered all, except me. I did not see. Not to forgive, nor to forget. Life was all in vain. As my blood turned to tears, another scar remained, again. As the crows sighed. Time has twisted his mind.

2. Beyond I Stray

Shades, grey images drawn by the mourning light. Guidance of the day, telling secrets of the night. Yesterday’s wings will carry no more sorrow. 3 Stones fall in the wishing well of tomorrow. A smiling mask cannot hide the sad face behind. Some see the truth into these eyes, some are blind. Cover of the soul, ashes thrown over sea. Back to another youth, come on, take my hand, come with me. 3 White doves will follow the way over the border, between night and day. Where shades fade away, flowers are falling. In a whispering dream you’ll hear me calling. Burn a candle and save a hidden memory. Like the flame this burns inside of me. I stare into a distance, a distance of past years. I still feel the pain, I still feel the tears. In the glimmer of the rising moon are voices calling, they will come soon. 3 White doves will follow the way over the border, beyond I stray

3. Autumn (Song for the Dying)

Again I am imprisoned in myself. The fall of summer’s light, I hold onto myself. Across the fields, into the woods, there I’ll be company to my own dark self, I shall not be. Richer than a thousand kings, yet poorer than the poorest man am I, like the wingless bird. Even when the sparrow quits to sing and the dark night descends, my cries will stay unheard. Your caress reminded me of a summer’s touch, an autumn breeze, of first spring rain. Your eyes stained from the argument we had that day. Still I ran my cold fingers through your vale hair, when bright angels arrived to lead us to far away. To a land of unknown peace, a soulbridge into our hearts. Where I confessed my love eternal as the winter of our lives fell apart. Your photo lying next to me, your effigy recalling memories of ‘forever’ times, times forever gone. As the sight of your smile raptures me, as silent whispers speak. Richer than a thousand kings, yet poorer than the poorest man am I, like the speechless bird. Even when the sparrow quits to sing and the dark night sets in, my heart was still hurt. In a land of unknown peace, on a soulbridge to our hearts. There I confessed my love eternal, as the winter of our lives fell apart. Your photo lying next to me, your effigy recalling memories of ‘forever’ times, times forever gone. As the sight of your smile raptures me, as silent whispers speak.

4. The Dreaming Moment

I turn my head towards the sky and free my mind from the thoughts inside, to capture that God-given moment before it washes away with the tide. As our time grows nigh, our time grows nigh, and we rest where the sleepers lie. So dry your tears and hold me tight, because I want to die in your arms tonight, as parting is such sweet sorrow. I pull my sheets over my head as the tide hits the shore. And that shore is my bed, as we awaken fornevermore. Through the mirror we fell and I’ve seen that our art of dreaming’s just a labyrinth between the heart and the mind and the dreaming moment in between. I have seen in my dream. Sweet dreams. We’ll sleep forever, we’ll dream forever. Dream tight my angel, dream tight. Sleep tight my angel, sleep tight.

5. Everlasting

Like dying leaves fall from a tree, frozen emotions fall from me. Like the lock that refuses the key, hidden façade’s releasing me. I’ll take what’s mine, give what is thine. The mirror reflects the picture that I forsake. The mirror reflects the picture I will break. And just like that picture I’ll be nothing more than a fading memory. Sweet little memory of mine. Lost in the cruel hands of time. Virgin white as first fallen snow (first fallen). Dust from the heavens above (Fall with me). When my heart was bleeding, bleed with me. Dust from the heavens. It fell with me. When my heart was bleeding. It bled for me. Bleed with me, fall from me, set me free, I call to thee. Virgin white as everlasting snow. Everlasting…
