A congregation before the fairest of gods
No ills or harm befalls him, a greater glory there's none

Within the walls of Valhal, the Aesir challenge his might
The deceiver persuades the blind one to extinguish his brothers light
The blind one, he takes aim, with a single blow to the breast
Deceptive instrument of death laid the beloved one to rest

Onward to the roots of the ash tree to bargain my desire for wisdom
And now I drink from the well
And so i gouge out my eye
The future I now behold

What no one knows on Earth nor Heaven
Mjolnir, hammer of the gods has been stolen
Freya's magic, Loki does evoke, arrive in Utgard, wearing Freya's cloak
"I have hid the hammer! Fight leagues below the Earth
Bring me Freya's hand in marriage and the hammer, I will return"
Heimdal saw, with Vanir sight
Thor adorned bridal white
For this journey, I set aside my shame
With mighty Mjolnir, I shall be Thrym's bane
"Why do Freya's eyes burn with fire
Red gold rings, wretched sister's desire
Thrym summons the Earth son's hammer
In Freya's lap, consecrate us together!"
Alas you fools I bear the mighty Mjolnir!
Through flesh and bone I'll cleave you all asunder
Thrym you wonder at your false bride's thirst
Thrym, mightiest of giants you shall fall first
Amongst the battered corpses of giants, stands Thor, son of the Earth
Wielding mighty Mjolnir, bloodstained hammer
Glorious triumph in the halls of the Aesir!
