1. Hymnus Obscurum - Anthem of Darkness

The ancestral terror of immortal myth
The darkness is the wisdom and warfare
Sprung forth like that eastern goddess
From the head of ancient man

The path back to relics
Is shrouded by lore of shadowed trees
The fear of shaded holtes hore
Journey fast through Eddaic dreams

Stare long enough into the abyss
To behold its darkening gaze
This is an anthem to that unknown

The river Styx runs legend
The fates cut only fabled threads
This pledge is to that mystery
Growing in chronicles dead

Behold the wrath of imagination
The ancestral terror of immortal myth
This anthem is to mortal invention

Behold the vengeance of man's mind
As he gazes deep into the abyss
As he runs erect towards the heavens
As he traces demons within the umbra

Bear witness to the rise of man
As he tears down heaven
A creation of earthly lore
Standing triumphant over holtes hore

Solo: Istvan

2. Martyrdom - Forever Dead

Icon, the one who wears the crown of thorns
Deceiver, you lead the blind to their death

The dead are still dead
Your soul brought nothing back to life
Their voice is still full of lies
Your tears remain dead

Mortals, who herd amongst the weak,
Break the chains that tie to your fear
Your life is not after death
And your god has abandoned men centuries ago

The sacrifice you make will not be written on your stone
Yet your life will end in dread and remorse

Death is imminent to all that's made of flesh
Life after is invisible to the mortal eye
Now hear the world from below and cry

Martyrdom
Forever Dead
Martyrdom

3. The Broken Wings of Allah

Reach for the heavens above
Blinded figure of grace
Thy mighty wings are weakened by world chaos

For those uncleansed from deceitful grace
From the east to where the sun meets the horizon
From the south to forever north of here
Echo the mournful cries of your fellow sheep

Their cries are denied, hope bound in chains
And again the inferno's eternally ablaze

Lost in dreams of a god on his holy throne
Blind is the fool who follows this dream
For tomorrow is still a day of hate

And the bloodshed spreads beneath
Your broken wings

Solo: Istvan

Allah, can you inhale this sadness?

My quest lay beyond all dreams
Wicked soul rise and breathe again

And again the inferno's eternally ablaze

Reach for the heavens below
Blinded figure of grace
Thy mighty wings are broken

Solo: Istvan

Wicked soul rise, and breathe again

4. Pentagramnation

Hail Horrors! Hail Infernal World!
And thou profoundest Hell
Receive thy new possessors!

Flame the torch shining only darkness
Against the star crossed skies
No light, fire illuminating shadows
Clash on our sounding shields
The deafening din of war

More grand than wondering tell of Babel,
and the works of Memphian Kings.
So collective our battle cries rise
Finally pouring on the mass of. . .

. . . Krisztus

We are one from below to high above
We are one from the far east to where the sun rests eternally
We are one Pentagramnation

Solo: Istvan

The sudden blaze of wrath will far wide
Illuminate the terrors of hell
In any age are we to lie down?
My sentence is for open war!

Solo: Istvan

To hurl defiance towards the vault of heaven. . .
Awake! Arise! Or be forever fallen! (pólóra)

5. The Blood Oath

Eyes to the east
From the high winter mountains
Restless, and longing
Forever west the seven chiefs

Remembrance to Hadur's great King
Attila's flesh now rests beneath the river
But his spirit guards the infinite skies
Self-sacrifice in his name
Through the roaring winds they hear his call

Solo: Istvan

O, Once again unite the imminent nation
O, once again

So they ride like death angels
And conquer to all sea shores
Taken the oath of blood

The seven chiefs gather the hordes
And ride towards the setting sun

Still the taste of their comrades' blood
Reminds them of the oath
He who fails shall be devoured
And it is his veins that shall fill
The next chalice of blood
The way of the Hun must live on

Solo: Istvan

The taste of their comrades' blood
Reminds them of their oath
He who fails shall be devoured
And it is his veins that shall fill
The next chalice of blood
The way of the Hun must live on

Eyes to the East
Towards the rising sun

6. Conquerors of the Ninth Century

Approaching from afar a storm
Gathering the blackest of all skies
Yet it seems as if the storm was alive
Could it be that Hell was unleashed from beneath?

The legend was told for centuries
An army that wore the face of Hell itself
Bronze shields and iron will
Encircles the flesh of war demons

Clearly seen now they were
The conquerors of the ninth century

All silence and peace vanish
As they invade the Carpathians
Where Attila once reigned and fell
Now Arpad rides as Emperor
Into the fatherland

Solo: Istvan

What must come is now here
Mercy to none to conquer is to kill
The earth must be fed, divine victory
Harrowing grief, for every one of us
A hundred more must die

By campfires we toast to our martyrs
Over your grave may the great river flow
You are the saint of the damned
And king of our hearts

Solo: Istvan

We await the storm

7. A Prophet's Demise

Ecce Angus Dei! Crucifigatur! Desolatus!
Ecco Homo ab ira tua,
Decessus aeternus propetae!

Dark seas reflect dark skies
As storms are gathered to Golgothan shores
On rotten wood in the place of skulls
Where only mother and whore stay to mourn

Jesus Nazarenus Rex Judaeorum

The king of emptiness on the ninth hour cried
An ocean of humanity witnessing execution
A mass with ardor begging him to die

His subjects screamed in mutiny of tyranny
A crown of horns adorned the prophet's demise
May his blood be on us and our children
The earth shivered with his retraction of life

E'lo-i! E'lo-i, la'ma sa bach-tha'ni?

Solo: Istvan

King of Jews, Father of Lies
Loved only by the meek and the scarlet
Roaring skies signal the end of his time

A nefarious mirror of the netherworld
Reflects the darkness of vengeful heavens
Forsaken to demise, the prophet is born
His oath of life carries the will of living death
Horns adorn the prophet's demise

Solo: Istvan

Plagues, infernal torture and eternal pain
O, how the Lord loves his children!
Enchained in the cave, the light from the flame
Murderers, genocide; in him all is forgiven

Behold the lamb of god! Let him be Crucified! Forsake him!
Behold the man from your wrath!
The prophet's eternal demise!

8. As the Souls Cry in Harmony

A hymn is carried on the mist
Blanketing cold on a night lit sea
Battle cries crash white against ancient cliffs
The storming haunted coast of fallen warriors

On the shores their souls number the grains
Far away from the horizon's broken enclosure
Among the world of dawn and dimming twilight
The waves carry the forgotten smell of defeat

Their gods were of different times and space
Hadur, Ares, Odin and Bellona
But their spirits remain together on the bounds
Their voices cry siren arias of. . .

Solo: Istvan

Crumbling sands of time
Where ocean meets land
But eternal are their voices
As they sing the song of constant thunder

The Elder cliffs hold against an endless tide
As they stare with longing into the vast Pacific

Yet their souls cry eternally

Within the world of dawn and dimming twilight
Wind tears through their spirits
As they sing their song in anguished harmony

9. Opus Requiem

And so he was turned away
To hide faces, guilt among the trees
Life froze in his veins
His limbs root to the ground
The failed soul runs a river of sorrow

Living yet breathless, he fades to a dark shade
At last the voice remained, vanished into gray
Far from fair kingdoms the voice has life. . .

The infernal river is unsettled by his crossing
Away from three-headed guardians
He runs towards the shade of life
His song ascends to the mount of heaven

Solo: James Murphy

As he runs from Hades
Turned around losing her to darkness

Alone with the standing trees
The deepest wild
They say he was swallowed by a river full of rage
His blood is the vengeful River
His bones are the stones

His soul calls to her eternally

Solo: Istvan

Reaching only darkness

The voice remains captured by his sorrow and pain
Then slowly fades like a dying flame
