Light and death! Light and death!
All my life I've been searching for light and death
And now you say that I have reached it all
Well I see... yet I don't believe!

It is those blackened skies and echoes of light
That I'll strive for at times just to realize
That I am nothing and a thousand worlds small
But I don't mind... I still want echoes of light!

Dust and flame! Dust and flame!
It is better to burn than to fade away
So let us dance between the lines of what's been told
And break with the old!

With a restless kind and a doubtful mind
I write these lines in the dark of night
Because I am nothing and you seem to be all
And still I string for the echoes of light!

I'm chasing light just to destroy it

And it is dark! That's why we see!

Oh! Now I've been craving death, yet life sticks on me
So as some might say, I'm bleeding me!
The mother's son, a father's neglect
Forever hers, ever since she left

And you're gold, just pure gold
So I'm waste and long dead inside

And with heart, I'll destroy all worlds
And with grave, I'll make mine burn
And with hope, I'll inhale all dust
And then for you, I'll be a death though no loss

Oh! Now I've been digging holes deep down to the sky
And promises of mine... you will call them lies!
Mother, I'll come! Father, I'll neglect!
Now forever yours, ever since I've left

And now we're gold, just pure gold
And all waste I have left behind

Muse, in pain she dies
Three blackened suns in blackest night
She told so much but all were lies
Forgotten worlds of forgotten times

But shallow night don't lie

Ease, now ease the mind
When a though repeats sixteen times
All that was gold, now blankest white
I'll be your just, just let me die

4. Selenophile

And we labor in light, with our eyes on our back and our hands firmly tied
We never want to believe, yet craving to be

I want to take you to this other side!
Where thoughts are divine, but words are of different kind
Where we dance beneath skies, that are as black as our soul inside

We carry shadows in the dark

We adore the moon
yet day it comes too soon

And a thousand worlds now die
As gold and dust unite
I guess I glared with tyrant eyes
I guess the fault is all mine

You claim the righteous time
I claim what's in sight
You give and life just takes?
Let's share this fault of mine


6. An Ode to the Conqueror

Let's praise the air
And praise the light
The light to blend
The lungs to squeeze

And may events have not been told
Tis noble to face the unknown and never told

And what will be
I cannot see
To thirst for dust
Quench it by the sea

And may this very sun shineth bright
