1. We Are Gathering Dust

Breathe in silence
We won't pray
Time can't heal us
We will wither and decay
When the sullen voices cry
Dust will settle
We're an echo of a past some deny
 
If your vision of truth
Is dressed up as a lie
Then what is the point of living and dying
Look outside these dark walls
And discover the light
That which is hidden beneath sorrow and scars
 
When the ocean takes us in
It will swallow the bitterness from within
When we're drowning
And losing hope
Fragile moments
Will save us from all of our sins


2. Beyond Embers And The Earth

As I walk amongst these stones
Underneath the frozen sun
Shadows consume all of my hope
It's where I belong
As tears drop like falling snow
I wander into the unknown
Following the voice of the breeze
Cold and alone
 
Your soul is as deep as the sea
When you reach to the depths you'll be free
Close your eyes drift away silently
When reflections turn into deceit
And the carvings seem blurred and too bleak
Close your eyes  
Drift away  
 
My ghost is still wandering
Through the overgrown memories
I've trapped myself in
I'll follow the voice of the breeze
Down this old and empty path
Where distant spirits remain

In our hearts a flame was born
We felt its sacred warmth
It seemed like we had drifted outside life
And the longer that it stayed
We couldn't even tell
Our visions had become a diluted dream
 
If our souls could collide
And realign the shape of this realm
Would we erupt into life?
If our souls could stay awake
Would we still be lost in emptiness?
 
When the haze had finally gone
Serene skies haunted dawn
It seemed like we had drifted inside life
When you disappear into the stars
I'll follow you  
Where our dreams will last for eternity


5. The Carrying Light

When I fade away
My sorrow will pierce the earth
Like a wound inflicted upon these roots
I'm a ghost
Searching for a truth I may never find

When I arise from this grave
The light will be my solace
I will scatter old ashes across this isolated land
Where memories are lost

I break free from these chains
But I still walk this world alone
I've painted the sunset my own shade of red
Will I ever feel its warmth again


6. To Walk Amongst The Dead

The stars fall asleep behind a tired sun
Memories from another world grasp my dying spirit
I see the faint glimmer of your face
Take my hand
Let me travel with you through twilight once again

In my slumber I still hear your distant cries
A cascade of embers fall from your weary eyes
Your glow still brings me warmth and hope
If you listen carefully
You can hear the quiet sound of a better world

I am the dead
And the dead walk alone
