It's a good cd of absu,if you like this band, you may love this one but thrash metal is not really what i like. My favorite track is 'customs of...' | Review by: belzebul Very underrated album. Sure the sound isn't very good, and the vocals sound a bit funny at times. But still this is an excellent album of retro-speed metal. Yes, you heard right, retro-speed metal. Check it out yourself and you see what i mean. HIGHLAND TYRANT ATTACK!! Review by: Vegeir A great album by a great band. Black thrash metal intertwined with beautiful acoustic passages. A few songs have some funny power metal war cries, but as for the rest of the album, it's great. Shaftiel does vocals for "Morbid Scream", in my opinion his vox are better than proscriptors, but proscriptor controls the band too much. 7/10 Review by: Nagoth I bought "Tara" before this album. "Tara" is an absolute killer masterpiece, but this is some kind of shitty mid-tempo thrash/heavy metal. The vocals sucks, the production is chunky and the songs boring. Quite fantastic that Absu turned from something this shitty to something so wonderful and blasting as "Tara". If you are into brutal music with atmosphere and depth this is NOT the album for you. Fucking Judas Priest shit..... Review by: winterspell Their 3rd album, great in anyway. Just a little bit short (38 min.). If you donīt have the digi (1 bonus track from the "...and shineth..."-7"), you should look at the gatefold vinyl version, which is limited to 1000 handnumbered copies. Great cover art, once again by Kris Verwimp. Review by: Body This album has a really great drum work, awesome!!, songs like celtic fire..., morbid scream... awesome, the only shit in this album is the damn heavy metal screams bullshit, but the rest if you ignore that is awesome Review by: blot This is the essential Absu album. No weak tracks here. There is a wealth of occult knowledge is here for those who understand it. Masterpiece. Review by: shanewick Folluw up to Sun of... A very good record which has a more overall thrash feel to it. Almost as good as Sun of... but loses points because the lack of epicness. Review by: Dennis666
