Acid Bath have the amazing ability to produce songs such as Dead Girl that are slow and acoustic but also songs like Bleed me an ocean that have a harsher and harder sound. Not just music but the lyrics are something on their own. I have yet to read lyrics from another band that entrance me as much as acid bath. Too bad they are not still together:( | Review by: BlackDahlila Acid bath is fucking awesome. Again my favorite band. this cd is very good very much meaning in the words. all out awesome. i wish acid bath was still a band. Review by: Hoppe As we found out with 'When the Kite String Pops', Acid Bath have truly found a unique sound and lyrical style that sets them apart from the metal genre. PTT stands above WTKST as the songwriting seems to be more considered and the lyrics offer yet more clues into Dax's twisted world. 'And the skyscrapers look like gravestones from out here' fgrom Diab Soule kind of sums up where Acid Bath came from. A real shame they are no more but the Rotten Records DVD 'Double Live Bootleg' is a must have. Review by: Metal Mark a real bomb, not as WHEN KITE... but a real confirmation of Acid Bath´s music and creative power... Review by: luciferianlight well I must say, I've owned both Acid Bath albums for years and quite often I find it difficult to decide which is better. Pagan Terrorist Tactics is a lot slower, and has a really fuzzy guitar sound. Songs like Diab Soule and Locust Spawning are just ripping, while slower stuff like New Death Sensation and Dead Girl are moving yet still dark. The usual stunningly bizarre lyrics written by Dax are still here, it's still got that nice sludgy sound, but overall..I'd have to say I like When The Kite String Pops more. It has more diversity within and between the songs, the guitars are just crushing, and it has an overall darker feel. Don't get me wrong, I love PTT, it's an amazing cd worth buying, but WTKSP just hits me harder. A solid release from one of the greatest bands I have ever heard. 9/10 Review by: False Messiah
