Very satisfactory. not superior, but definately worth getting. All the songs in this album are good, and worth getting, however, the particularly good ones aren't as good as the particularly good ones in other albums. (from other bands), alas they are still awsome. If you like Amon amarth, get this album, it's STILL amon amarth, of ALL the bands that change the least, this is one of them. The vocals sound exactly the same, as do the instrumentals, but they are different songs, and each album does have a different emotion to it. Of all the Amon amarth albums though, this one "crunches" the most, instead of having melodic riffs, it has some real head-bangers that can give you a whiplash (hah, no I don't headbang, but I know what makes other people bang). Review by: Ghaleon 'The Sound of Eight Hooves' is an amazingly written song. The lyrics are both amusing and touching... Victory or die.
