Anathema sure came a long way in one year, considering the first demo; "An Illiad Of Woes" and this one, this was recorded about a year before the "Crestfallen" EP and it shows, the quality is so much better, and in fact a lot of the songs are of near album quality, good solid Doom/Death. They still break into fast sections in the songs like "At One With The Earth" and "All Faith Is Lost" (kinda) - Darren's vocals are monstrous too.
