This is As Divine Grace's debut debut mini album "Romantic Beatitude Of Faded Dawn" recorded in 1993 but not released until 1996 on Folter Records. I actually heard their 2nd album "Lumo" before this one and was blown away by "Lumo's" song writing, Hanna Kalske's voice, and guest vocal appearances by ex-Thergothon/This Empty Flow (Jori Sjoroos). But here's this debut mini album from 1993. Now, being a huge fan of early 90's death doom myself, I got into this one right away. Whereas "Lumo" had the gorgoeus operatic female vocals, this mini LP is 100% death vocals akin to Ceremonium's "Into the Autumn Shade" era sound. If you're a fan of old school early 90's death doom or want to check out a great example of the impact early Paradise Lost had on the metal underground, check this one out. Might be hard to find nowadays. | Review by: frozen illusion
