As Divine Grace `Supremature` (Avantgarde Music, 2000)

There was something about the cover art (a boxing ring, actually) that made me immediately order it from the not-so-local store. I`ve heard they were a doom band that changed into something, but i did not expect this. Alongside the operatic female vocals (courtesy of Hanna Kalske) it becomes a marriage of delirium between the families of Fugazi and the Gathering, with Jeremy Enigk (Sunny Day Real Estate, The Fire Theft) being the ever-so-fittingly minister of ceremonies. As peaceful or haunting as an empty mansion, only partially lit by the moonlight. If you can`t find that to accompany your listening of `supremature` then i suggest choosing your finest delicate selection of italian food. Don`t they ever get sick of fish in Finland?
