A great album, melodic guitar lines and a battery which will blow your mind completely. This is one of the best blackmetal albums from the Netherlands, and better then Dark Funeral at the times of Vobiscum Satanas... Review by: astathica This is my favourite Cirith Gorgor album, why? Because it has great catchy/brutal/melodic/melancholic songs, good production and gerat album-cover (Kris Verwimp) and layout. Cirith Gorgor is not original but I don't give a fuck about that, it is a great album and that's what counts. It has some elements of Immortal (Pure Holocaust/Battles in the North, Cirith also shares the Cold feeling immortal has), (older) Marduk (Those of the unlight/Opus Nocturne) and Dissection (the melodies and solo's)... Cirith Gorgor is definately the best black metal band from the netherlands. Liar of Golgotha, Salacious god's and Ordo Draconis are too "Keyboard-orientated & too boring" in my opinion.
