The sound quality of these demos absolutely sucks. The last tracks are getting a bit better but still... | There are also almost no screams on the whole release, which is a shame for CoF: one of the things I like best about them are Dani's screams. I wouldn't waste money on this, even if you're a real CoF fan (just like me). Review by: sarcasticon I think the CD is nice for a Cradle collector... there's just a slight problem. On the back, 15 tracks are listed (with many, many typos)... on the actual CD, there are only 12 tracks. Here is what I think the actual tracklisting is: Loathsome Fucking Christ Darkly Erotic Chewing On Your Guts Circle Of Perversion The Black Goddess Rises (Intro) Unburied At Dusk The Raping Of Faith As Deep As Any Burial / Fraternally Yours, 666 (Outro) Bleeding In Heaven / As My Stomach Churns (Intro) Funeral / Darkly Erotic The Graveyard By Moonlight / So Violently Sick Foul Winds Threaten (Outro) cparker15@yahoo.com Review by: cparker15 This was surprisingly good for me. I didn't knew what early COF was about, so I borrowed this disc from a friend who was a big COF fan. It didn't blew me away or anything. The sound quality is very poor but that is never an obstacle to a black metal devote. Initially this sounds a bit like primitive black metal with some not-so-primitive elements such as occasional keyboards. All the guitar solo attempts suck, but isn't that cool or what? Track nš7 (the graveyard by moonlight) sounds just like many porn movie classic soundtracks. It's ok to listen to this album until we get to the "Total Fucking Darkness" demo, then it's fun! The original black goddess rises is better than the one found on the debut, but not my cup of tea really, it's too slow and shit. The next track is like when I start doing my ritualistic dance around the room, yeah it's really cool. The rest is pretty much the same, kind of shitty but ultimately enjoyable. It's better to listen to this than any other COF stuff. 7/10 in the shitty album scale (in which 10 would really be a 1) Review by: Hardboiled
