This album is a solid and extremely listenable slab of well executed melodic death metal. It gets better with every listen. I cannot really liken this release to anything else, as it is as brutal sounding as it is melodic. The drums pound away with some interesting fills and cymbal work as well as the obvious double bass work. The guitars dance around each other and keep you fully interested during the lengthy and sprawling songs, and are complemented perfectly by the subtle keyboards. The vocals are typically generic and guttural, but work surprisingly well. This album is a very good release and provides the listener with a rewarding and satisfying listen.
