i love this album: it's chaotic, it's noisy, it's dark. i find that Wrest's drumming is a lot more furious in many of the tracks than on previous albums, and his vocals are a bit deeper which at first i didn't like, but over time felt suited the album better than his typical sandpaper screams. tracks like "Noisome Ash Crown" and "Merging With Sword, Onto Them" are stellar. excellent release. also, the track listing given on this site is incorrect, it should be as follows: 1. Vesture Dipped in the Blood of Morning - 5:22 2. Merging With Sword, Onto Them - 10:58 3. Made as the Stale Wine of Wrath - 8:44 4. VI-XI-VI - 7:09 5. Receive the World - 7:48 6.
