The Swdish unholy forces continuies to impress!! this is highclass blackmetal in a touch of oldstyle! no synths only fucking mayhem and destruction! Review by: sargath I find this one quite slow and sometimes even boring. Compared to Unholy crusade and Enter the moonlight gate it`s almost doom/black. But i guess thats the whole point because Angelgrinder was very boring with it`s death metal approach and lack of atmosphere. Seal of Belial is for sure dark and misty and songs like Legio inferi and Scythe of death really gives me the creeps, but i can`t enjoy it as much as i want to. It feels like the album would need some real blasting parts to give it some kind of equilibrium. But compared to the majority in the scene of today Lord Belial kicks most of asses.
