seems to me that they blended some atilas drone metal influences into the songs,it is not 100 percent black metal,might sound boring if you are not into drone so get it a patient listening,its still mayhem,that means a thousand bands will imitate them once again like after every studio record they release. Review by: gladracul absolutely fantastic album, i've owned it since the day it came out and it never ceases to please. like the above reviewer mentioned, it's got a big drone influence, but i love it!! every MayheM album is a masterpiece that portrays the psychotic nature of humanity in a different way. the fact that with every album they push the limits of BM further makes them true artists in my eyes. got to meet them last night in Ottawa, amazing show and they're all super chill guys, just happy to be playing music and inspiring the true few (meaning people who actually listen to and understand the music, rather than people like "oh, de mysteriis is a grim album all the rest of Mayhem can go in the garbage"), which is really what music is supposed to be all about: truly trying to understand the meaning and the energy behind the music and appreciating it for what it is. 10/10 because every album they put out is flawless Review by: False Messiah		Use the textarea below to write your review of this album.
