Theyīre back!! And the rule once more. I didnīt like "Gateways" really (although there were a few great songs), but this one kicks ass again. The typical dissonant riffings, violent roars, amazing drums (check out Peteīs solo. Although itīs nothing but blasting, itīs pretty interesting). To me itīs their best album since "Covenant", I consider this one as a masterpiece. Itīs more tough listening than the first albums, but yet more easy than the lst two records. Check this out, itīs far better than the new Cannibal Corpse CD, which is boring as hell... Review by: Necroking MORBID ANGEL Heretic :Death Metal Morbid Angel's latest installment in the Death Metal genre, very nice. Heavy and fast with very catchy riffs that will repeat on you like a Big Mac with extra onions. Heretic also contains a lot of weird intruamental tracks that sound more like experiments than actual songs. Interesting at first but most of them later become slightly anoying. Drummer Pete "Commando" Sandoval unleashes himself for almost three minutes non stop on track #13 which is of course way awsome. And then Erik Rutan preforms a very skillful solo titled "Born Again" that souns fantastic. 8.5/10 Review by: arcanechild Great album !! Remind me a bit of the BATS era. Great riff and great drum.
