I just bought nile in their darkened shrines and this is my opinion:I miss the speed and the aggrasive of Black seeds of vengeance and amongst the catacombs of nephren ka,but it proves that nile nile come a long way to make their own sound.Respect! and go buy this album! Review by: Hate Society Still so brutal so fast , nile won't loose it's strength. But then once again more technically , even better solo's than before. There's no doubt : in their darkened shrines is much more effective than previous releases.Fabelous tracks , unas slayer of the gods rulez! This music has a strong basic of knowledge. the lyrics are very dificult but contains a very high level of IC. This band is not only original what contains the lyrics. I haven't heard a band using his guitars in that why. Also the drums seems to go his own way. I think the drummer became more interesting playing with nile than angel corpse. Angel corpse realy sucks after 5 times listen to it. Good work guys. Intense and very original. Drumwork and Guitarwork is absolute and solos perfectly match each songs atmospher. The album is awash in Egyption culture and the cd contians the mythology behind each song. Nile has really created their own genre of intense metal. Never will you see any other name besides Nile classified as Egyption Death. I strongly urge any one who hasn't heard Nile yet and loves the intense genre of metal to pick this cd up... and prepare for the blast! 9.5/10 Review by: arcanechild Most f*cking great Egyptian album.
