Orphanage are a gothicmetalband from the netherlands, that use influences from the whole metalindustry, wich creates their unique style. | With the great vocal talents of George Oosthoek, and the hypnotic voice from Rosan van der Aa to lead the music to extrem hights. The new album driven is a killer, and contains some of the beter orphanage songs. Also every song has a different style, but still manage to keep the unique orphanage sound! For example a song like black mirror magic sounds like a pure gothic metal song, while the song Cold i quite a good Trash song ( with usage of 3 bass guitars ). Overal the album has an enchantment over it, and it keeps your atention from the first to the last song. Review by: Damien Doom I really like this album! I have only listened to this one and "Inside". I discovered this band from Newsbin Pro and downloaded "In Slavery" and immediately fell in love. This was only a year ago, and found out they are no longer together. I never really got into any kind of Death Metal or Goth, but, whatever genre this music falls into, I love it! The combination of grunting and female vocals is very pleasing to hear. I would love to get their earlier albums. Sad to hear they are no longer together. Review by: Stickybuds420
