This is hands down, one of the most crushing releases in death metal history!! Its relentless, brutal and extreme death metal at its ultimate best! | Firing guitars, rumbling bass, pulverising drums and awesome vocals (compliments of glen benton) just make this album a mind-fukking experience! you've gotta get your hands on this one! It's beautiful. The last song, "Entwined by Vengeance", which is playing right now, is my favourite song - EVER. Fuck it's good. Acoustic solo which is brilliant, and it keeps building up into an empowering barrage of death. Buy this and appreciate it for what it is - fucking awesome music. Review by: Nagoth this cd. is a fucking masterpiece. the drums are fucking insane, with all the double bass needed.the guitars are thick with all the crunch needed. the bass rumbles with a down below feeling,and the vocals are sick,brutal,and rip your head off with your blood running cold. it is alot better than some of the later deicide cd's.,and that is in no way dissing on the almighty deicide,but just telling you how fucking crucial this cd.is. my only complaint would be that the drums sound a little too thin,but with that aside,buy this cd.if you know what good death metal should,and does sound like. "Dechristianize” is very anti-Christian death metal with bits and pieces of harmony. The brilliant musicianship is just astonishing. I am in awe from the vocals. They are fucking brutal and shred every piece of innocence that comes their way. Glen Benton uses angry guttural screaming and also really satanic screeching which sound so evil you just want to beat someone mercilessly so they bleed profusely. I also found out that Benton really fucking hates Christianity, which is quite obvious when you read lines such as “God, you fucking whore”, or “Celebrate the annihilation of the Christian, his words are meaningless to me”. The drumming is insanely fast. Dave Suzuki actually used technology to speed up some of the blast beats, but he is still an incredible drummer. All 3 members did a fantastic job. There´s no doubt about brutal and brilliant vocals, fast rhythmic drumming, and catchy riffs-and the intro is evil as fuck. Hail Satan, Hail Glen Benton, Hail Vital Remains Review by: saruman
