Túrin Turambar Dagnir Glaurunga
1. Túrin Son of Húrin
“Túrin Turambar, Dagnir Glaurungaâ€
Cold winds blow through the chamber where you born,
dark hair and fiery spirit of your father,
the path is gloomy and your fate leads you astray,
from your home and heart you were forced to leave far away.
For years you stayed with elves till you became a man,
tall and proud, you grew up in peaceful lands,
but no one can escape from the destiny,
you’ll be remebered for your name, ‘cause you are…
“Túrin Turambar, Dagnir Glaurungaâ€
“You want to be a master of your fate
And believe still that you can win this fight
But anger kills as surely as a blade
And so is dimmed for you a peaceful life.â€
Over what I have done
Over what I really am.
Adanedhel they call me.
Agarwaen I name myself.
Over what I have done
Over what I really am.
Mormegil they call me
Turambar I am
2. Aure Entuluva
From the sky above us, a dark rain comes down fast,
it brings smell of death and fear in the heart of men.
Armies of thousand spears are prepared to die,
in this land of sorrow, the dawn has arrived!
Orcs ahead, thousands!
In the dark of Angband.
Elves and Men united,
under one flag of hope!
Army of Maedhros, with Feanor’s seven sons;
Men of Hador's house, along with the elves king;
Army of Nargothrond, along the dwarves of Belegost,
now we have to fight to save this land!
“Bring Húrin to me, his army is weak and I shall break his will apart!â€
Go now my lord, you’re the last hope of the elves,
I can’t let you die, retreat for your life,
remeber this day in your eyes,
when the world will shine into a new light!
With my axe and my shield I will fight ‘till the end,
defeat is everywhere, but I am still there,
‘cause this I feel inside my soul:
a new day shall come again!
“Aure entuluva!â€
3. Arise in Gondolin
Beyond the Encircling Mountains,
to the secret vale of Tumladen,
the hidden fortress awaits you,
which no Man had yet seen.
Arise in Gondolin from mountains,
white walls around the hill,
horns resound the king’s return,
great wings across the sky.
“By treachery within,
his kingdom won't last along,
with my servants indeed,
i’ll rule this world in eternity!â€
4. Mîm's Betrayal
5. Dark Riots from Angband
From his high and darkest throne,
he broods his own revenge alone.
Fires, smokes and creepy lands,
orcs arise from his hands.
Master! Master!
ready to serve your dark purpose,
our victory is so close,
thunder rumbles, the fires burn!
Beneath your fortress you create,
the striking force of our hate,
the elves and men cannot resist,
our mighty steel ‘cause you exist.
Dark Lord! Dark Lord!
Ready to fight and die at your side,
against the Valar and the Light,
fire, fumes, blackened sky!
He chanted a song of wizardry,
He yelled curses of treachery.
From Angband,
dark riots rouse the soul!
The whole earth will fall
For the glory of us all
From Angband,
black fumes will blind your eyes!
Beyond the western world, on sand,
On sand of pearls in Elvenland.
The clouds gathered, the darkness rise
In Valinor, the Valar cries.
The wolf howls. The ravens flee.
The ice mutters in the mouths of the Sea.
In despair the captives in Angband mourn.
Thunder rumbles, the fires burn!
6. Gurthang
7. Path of the Doomed
Wandering lost, you found men of the night,
together you march to war and shared their lonely fate.
On Amon Rûdh you will for your friend wait,
his amity will guide him, make him join your fight.
Then Bow and Helm will bring to these lands light,
until the bond is severed by the blade.
Fire ravaged, blackened man hugging his blasted domain.
Frosted heart and hands, black shadow on a grey land.
Life clinging, striving, killing at the fringes,
fierce in the borrowed fire of his torched lands.
Heedless yet haunted, in his fighting,
death passed him by to gorge on his prey.
Wandering lost, you found men of the night,
together you march to war and shared their lonely fate.
By swords and arrows we hunt in these poor lands,
the enemy is close, I smell the stink of orcs.
Wastelands with bloodied hands they walk with heavy steps,
a narrow path to freedom between the walls of death,
across the blasted plains of his once green moors.
Frosted heart and hands, black shadow on a grey land.
A path for the few to take,
a land bridge away
from the Dark Lord's Ire.
Life clinging, striving, killing at the fringes,
fierce in the borrowed fire of his torched lands.
Heedless yet haunted, in his fighting,
death passed him by to gorge on his prey.
8. The Sack of Nargothrond
Year 495 of the First Age of Beleriand,
Túrin has gained great consideration and power from Orodreth, King of Narghothrond.
After numerous successes in battle, Túrin rules all matters of war, and commands to build the
bridge outside the city, to allow the armies to pass through and fight against the black horde of
Angband.
“Set up this bridge and face the orcs of Morgoth!â€
But the King was warned about the great peril of invasion by Ulmo himself, god of waters. By
messengers he told to Orodreth to leave the city and reach the safe shores of the sea. But the king
got angry with the messengers and the god, so he decided to stay and fight.
“Set up this bridge and face the orcs of Morgoth!â€
But, in the end, the bridge was the ruin of Nargothrond, because it allowed to the armies of Morgoth
to pass and sack the city. Orodreth was killed and Túrin was bewitched by Glaurung, he couldn’t do
anything to protect the people.
9. Death of Glaurung
Shrewd and malefic, you father of the dragons,
by your enchantment, Nienor was bewitched.
On the treasure of Nargothrond you wait
for your vengeance, in the twilight of the day.
The time has come, you're ready to destroy,
by fire and flames the sky turns to red.
At nightfall near the shore you stayed for some rest,
but Túrin drew his sword, he gave you a painful death!
"Hail, Worm of Morgoth! Well met again!
Die now and the darkness have thee!
Thus is Túrin son of Húrin avenged."
He then wrenched out the sword,
But his flesh was set a flame
by the black blood hoard.
The venom burned so that he yelled in pain.
Dying in the night it told the truth,
of the doom he left behind.
He realized what he had done,
his pain led him to death.
10. Hail to the Black Sword
Far in the north, the wolf howls alone
the Legend untold, of the Fallen Hero.
Among men and elves, he fought the black horde,
to escape from his doom and claim what he lost.
By glory deeds he forged his fiery soul,
under the eyes of Melkor the Dark Lord.
Soon in the end, he’ll leave from this land,
because the truth can kill even the strongest heart.
Upon the hill of sorrow lies your name.
The rain flows on your grave, like tears from the sky.
Hail to the Black Sword!
Black sword of black doom!
You murderer against yourself,
your wrath towards the elves and men.
The victory in Morgoth’s hands, they will cry
for those who don’t deserve to die.
Far in the south, the eagle sings loud,
the Legend untold, of the Fallen Hero.
Among men and elves, he lived far from home,
to escape from his doom and claim what he lost.
In Nargothrond you forged your mighty sword,
under the eyes of Melkor the Dark Lord.
Soon in the end, you’ll leave from this land,
Hear the call of death, and die by your hand.

Cabed Naeramarth!â€
