Metallica - Ride the Lightning
Score: 10/10
Seems like Metallica has really worked on their sound. On Ride the Lightning they play a very cool kind of speed metal, which is sure better than Kill 'em All. The songs are quite diverse, sometimes sounding a bit like AC/DC, sometimes more like Slayer. Some of the songs are real masterpieces, so I think this is a historic metal cd every metalhead should have...

Faith No More - Introduce Yourself
Score: 10/10
A very cool oldie, this Faith No More. It's from 1987, and it's more punk than metal I think. But still it's a very nice album. The lyrics are funny, the music is cool, and the singing... Well, you may have to get used to that, but the half-drunk vocals of Chuck have it's own charm.

Faith No More - We Care a Lot
Score: 9.5/10
Apparently this is the first Faith No More cd. I don't know exactly from when it is, because I've only got this re-release that only says '(c) 1996 London'. But judging from the sound and the band members it Is their first cd. It sounds very much like 'Introduce Yourself', though the songs are a bit vaguer where Introduce Yourself is more straightforward. Also weird is that the version of the song 'We care a lot' of this cd is different from the famous version of Introduce Yourself. But this cd is definitely worth checking out.

Faith No More - The Real Thing
Score: 8.5/10
With this album Faith No More is stepping away from their punk image, and they play a more general kind of metal. Which I think is a shame, because this album just isn't interesting as "Introduce Youself" was to me. Some songs are cool, but others I think are just plain boring. I guess if they go on in this direction it's the end of Faith No More for me...
